Hello. My name is Gauri. 
I am born and brought up in India. 
After working for a decade as a writer in the advertising industry in three countries (JWT (India), LEO BURNETT/ARC WORLDWIDE (Malaysia), TBWA/HUNT/LASCARIS (South Africa),
I now also write and illustrate children's picture books.

You will find me picking children's books at the local library or daydreaming about
my picture book with a hot cup of chāha (Indian tea made with cardamom, ginger, mint, tea masala, milk, tea leaves and sugar.)

I am also a student of Vedanta (Arsha Vidya Bharati) and a teacher for their SHINE program
(Spiritual Heritage of India for Next-gen Empowerment) wherein I teach Sanskrit shlokas
and share the wonders and the glory of the Vedic culture.

I now live in Chicago with my husband and daughter.
